The New Westminster Police arrested Robert Allen MILLER (24 years-old) yesterday afternoon. On April 1st MILLER was identified by the Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime (IMPACT) as being of one British Columbia’s top ten auto crime thieves.
Acting on a tip of MILLER’s whereabouts, New Westminster Police’s Special Projects Team set up surveillance on a Burnaby residence. MILLER was then followed to a local restaurant where he was arrested without incident. MILLER was wanted on outstanding warrants for Theft, Fraud, Drug Possession and Possession of Stolen Property in Vancouver, Coquitlam and New Westminster. The New Westminster Police is thanking the public and encouraging them to continue to call their local police department or Crimestoppers with information of a crime or criminals to reduce criminal activity for a safer community.
