The New Westminster Police arrested Stephen Christopher Hoy (47 years old) of New Westminster on
March 3, 2008 for breaching conditions ofhis Probation. Mr. Hoy is on probation for Assault and 4 counts
of Criminal Harassment. Mr. Hoy was remanded in custody and will appear in New Westminster
Provincial Court March 19th. Mr. Hoy is currently charged with 6 additional Breach of Probation offences
in New Westminster and North Vancouver since August 1,2007.
Mr. Hoy has several probation conditions to which he is to abide by besides not to have any contact with numerous previous victims. He is also prohibited from being near any persons under the age of 14, near any public park, swim areas, day cares, schools, playgrounds, community centers where there is a presence of persons under the age of 18 and not to possess or use any computers, cellular phones or blackberry communication type devices.
