On February 3'd, 2008 the New Westminster Police Service became involved in a Missing Person Investigation, the subject ofwhich was:

Kataryna SEMENOVA
born December 4, 1980 (27 years old)
Caucasian female (fair skinned)
5'5"
119 pounds (slim build)
Dirty blonde long hair

SEMENOVA had been residing at a residence New Westminster, but went missing sometime between the evening ofFebruary 1st and February 2nd, 2008. A person of interest in this case was identified, that being her ex-common law, who was facing charges of Assault against her at the time, including a "No Contact" bail provision.

This male was found deceased at a residence in Thunder Bay Ontario February 6th , 2008. The Police Investigation has revealed that he most likely left Vancouver by bus on February 2nd, 2008. SEMENOVA remains missing at this time causing NWPS investigators to be concerned for her well being.

NWPS Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen SEMENOVA (photo attached with Press Release) since February 1st or have any information about her current whereabouts to contact Det/Cst. Natasha PURBA of the NWPS Major Crimes Section at 604-525-5411.
