The New Westminster Police Service is investigating a serious motor vehicle accident that occurred at 07:58 hrs on the morning of January 10, 2008. This was an accident that occurred between a motorcycle and another motor vehicle, both travelling on Ewen Avenue, New Westminster B.C.

The motorcycle approached the intersection of Ewen Ave and Dawe st and at this iocation became invoivedln a collision. The driver of the motorcycle, a 34 year old resident of Richmond B.C. came off his motorcycie at this location and suffered extensive injuries. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation continues into the exact cause.
