Fugitive provided "Con-Air" flight back home

New Westminster police officer, Detective Constable Bernd Driescher, working in conjunction with British Columbia Corrections and the Barrie Ontario Police Service, identified a male that was wanted on outstanding warrants in Barrie Ontario stemming from a 2008 investigation into a twenty count credit card fraud.


The accused, a thirty-nine year old male, was arrested by New Westminster police officers as he was being released from custody at the Fraser Regional Correction Centre on a previous New Westminster fraud conviction.


CULVER, Donald, Gordon was escorted back to Barrie Ontario on "Con-Air" flight number '10-7' by New Westminster police officer's on November twenty-fifth. CULVER was greeted at the Ontario airport by Barrie Ontario police officers.

 

 

Male Arrested for Numerous Break and Enters

The New Westminster Police Service and Burnaby Royal Canadian Mounted Police investigators have arrested a male suspect believed responsible for the break and enter at numerous businesses, schools and government agencies.

The arrest was the result of a joint task force comprised of New Westminster and Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers investigating break and enters centered in the New Westminster-Burnaby corridor. Criminal intelligence, video surveillance and forensic identification assisted in the investigation and subsequent arrest. It is anticipated that additional charges are forth coming.

Arrested is a thirty-three year old male of no-fixed address. Charges of four counts of Break Enter and Theft have been recommended to the Crown. The accused was held in custody for court.
