New Westminster Police Arrest Prolific Break and Enter Suspect

Over the last two months, the New Westminster Police Department has been working to identify a female suspect in several incidents of break and enter. The female allegedly entered into residential apartments unbeknownst to the occupants and stole a variety of personal belongings.

On August 24, 2012, thirty-eight year old Nadine Norton was arrested and charged with nine counts of break and enter. The arrest comes after a collaborative effort by the NWPD’s Street Crime Unit, Operational Support Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit.  Norton remains in custody until her next court date September 12, 2012. Further investigation is being carried out to determine the viability of additional charges.
