First Dog Squad![]() Sidney Bass was interested in obtaining police dogs for the Department. This picture was taken in Surrey in circa 1915 when Bass went out to a kennel looking for possible police dogs. It's not sure who is in the photograph with the dogs. 1953 Police Office![]() The interior of the New Westminster Police station in November 1953. Even though the members have not been identified, they could possibly be John Carty, Thomas Dominey, William Huston, James MacInnes, Wellington Miller and Sidney Pearce. Other names are still being researched. 1935 Sidecar![]() This photograph from 1935 shows two members from the New Westminster Police on a motorcycle side car. This picture is believed to be for the May Day parade in 1935. Sidney Bass![]() This is a photograph of Sidney Bass. Sid Bass was a well respected member of the Police Department from about 1912 to 1943.
