This vehicle was one of New Westminster Police Departments first patrol cars (circa 1920). It was used as a paddy wagon, ambulance, or just about anything else the City would require a truck for. Even though the police department had the Mariah, they still had a few horses for patrolling the City. |

Sidney Bass was interested in obtaining police dogs for the Department. This picture was taken in Surrey in circa 1915 when Bass went out to a kennel looking for possible police dogs. It's not sure who is in the photograph with the dogs. |
