The New Westminster Police Department wants residents to be aware of the following recent crimes so that residents can take precautions:
- Theft from vehicles, and theft of vehicles; specifically, work vans.
- Thieves are targeting work vans parked in the McBride Boulevard corridor, Ross Drive, and East Royal Avenue.
- Remember to park in well-lit areas, take valuables out of vehicles, and report all suspicious activity.
