On January 23, the New Westminster Police Department became aware that a photo of our members was being misused by an American anti-Women’s march group.
The photo features three of our members standing in front of a patrol vehicle with anti-Women’s march commentary below the photograph.
The photo was taken by a photographer of the New West Record and originally appeared in a story about female members at NWPD, which was published in the New West Record in June of 2014.
The comments that are featured in the graphic are not the beliefs of the New Westminster Police Department. All attempts are being made to have this image removed.
